Who is Janice?
Janice is one of 3 siblings.Her sales career began in 1972: Over the next few years working as a Manager for Sarah Coventry in Winnipeg; District Manager for Hydro Culture Lawasa in Barrie; an Executive Director for Jeauneque International in Mississauga; as well as Director for Beverly Hills Weight Loss Clinic in Stoney Creek.
Janice's personal interests include:
- a passion for cooking for family and friends
-- in fact, she's in the process of writing a Family Cookbook;
- playing progressive euchre with her sisters and lifelong friends once a week;
- savouring time enjoyed with her grandchildren Alicia, Ashton, Andrew, Daniel and Shawn.
Who is Larry?
Larry is one of five children.In 1964 he fulfilled a childhood dream and embarked on a rewarding and adventuresome career in the Canadian Army - spending eleven years stationed with the 2nd Battalion Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. One of the many duties he performed while serving in the Infantry was as a Paratrooper in Edmonton and in 1968 -- during his Tour of Duty in Germany -- Larry performed with the P.P.C.L.I. Corp of Drums at Earl's Court London England; they had the privilege of being the Guard of Honour for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
While stationed in Kingston Ontario, Larry served as the President of the Men's Club and then he spent the last 5 years of military service as a Physical Education Instructor.
Larry's service time began in Edmonton and continued through tours in Germany, Winnipeg, Cypress, Texas, Kingston, and culminated in January of 1980 in Camp Borden (near Barrie).
It was at this time that he took an early retirement to begin a job that was waiting for him at Stelco in Hamilton (his hometown); where he spent the next 5 years.
Larry's personal interests include:
- physical fitness, such as: jogging, working out at the gym
- amateur sports -- Larry won the Re/Max Bocci Ball Tournament two years running; is an active member of the our baseball league; and enjoys going to his grandsons baseball and hockey games and taking his granddaughter for swimming lessons, which he began when she was six months old;
- and, not the least, he's an active member of a Lodge in Stoney Creek and related fraternal & charitable activities as well as running the hall rentals there.
Who are they?
They're the Hinkleys. Born and bred in Hamilton, childhood friends, then sweethearts, married in 1965, Business Partners since 1985 and the proud parents of three adult children David, born in Edmonton, Kathleen born in Germany, and Danny born in Kingston. Janice and Larry are proud grandparents of four grandsons and one granddaughter.Their Partnership
In 1984 Janice and Larry Graduated Mohawk College Real Estate side by side and the following February began their Real Estate career, as sales representatives for Alec Murray Real Estate Co. Having the privilege of being one of the first husband and wife real estate teams in the area. The following March after a very successful first year, they were invited to join Re/Max Del Mar Realty Inc. and have been there ever since. In 1993 Janice decided to diversify by accepting a position as Assistant Director, then Director of the Beverly Hills Weight Loss Clinic in Stoney Creek. Two years latter Larry added a new dimension to his career, by accepting a sales position selling New Homes in Grimsby for "Switzer Homes" he thoroughly enjoyed working in both the Resale and New Home Markets. In late í96, Janice resigned from Beverly Hills and joined Larry, preferring to dedicate herself wholly to their Real Estate Business.Their Philosophy
